Heather DeAtley, Contributor to Moving, for You: A Tribute to Empathy

I'll never forget the deep sigh I experienced after hearing these words in Hebrew:

ושוויתי אדוני לנגדך תמיד . Vishiviti adonai lenegdahach tamid.

To see God in front of you always.

It was an invitation to let go of old narratives that were no longer my own. Old stories I had inherited that used to have such power over me, just fell away.

Shortly after, I was inspired to write these words:

swoon, rally, and ignite. this life, this world is worth the fight. --IP

A new beginning thus began.
